Dr. Spittler graduated from the Ohio State College of Medicine in 1982. Dr. Spittler completed his residency and internship programs at Toledo Hospital from 1982-1985.

Dr. Spittler, board certified in Family Practice, has been providing primary care services to the Akron area for more than 20 years, starting at Western Reserve Primary Care in 1985. This practice merged to form Primary Care Associates in 1997.

He is the clinic professor of Family Practice at NEOUCOM and is the Associates Medical Director at Laurel Lake Retirement Center.
